This book club is for those of you who enjoy reading modern/urban paranormal romance and action/adventure novels, superhero/non-superhero graphic novels, science fiction novels, and fantasy novels. Each month we will select a novel (or two) from these genres, seeking out the stellar examples or the newest releases in one of each of the categories.

There are many book clubs. This group reads literary classics...books that have stood the test of time. So we'll never read the hot new thing...we'll read books that are 10-10,000 years old but are still in print. We'll read Homer, Dante, Salinger, Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, John Kennedy Toole, Alice Walker, Shakespeare. Great authors, great books. We'll read fiction, poetry, drama, folk tales, philosophy. We'll discuss what we read over wine or coffee. Sound fun?

The Raleigh/Durham Doctor Who Meetup Group is a diverse group of avid fans from all walks of life who love Doctor Who. We get together early in the month for a casual meeting (games, discussions, etc.).
